Our Review

With the lovely floral displays that adorn its entrance, the Argyll Hotel is an eye-catching traditional property in the west end of Glasgow, close to the Kelvingrove Museum. Inside, the atmosphere is cosy and unmistakably Scottish, with lots of dark wood fittings and attractively patterned wallpaper.

The hotel sits on a Georgian terrace overlooking Kelvingrove Park in the West End of Glasgow. It is only a short distance from Glasgow University, the Kelvin Hall Sports Arena, the imposing, red-sandstone Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC).

     not far from the secc, centre or west end!...             great loction for the Kelvingrove museum...             This hotel is in a fantastic location ...             hotel was alittle further from the city centre than I would have liked ...             Hotel was ideally situated for our purpose ...             only 10 mins walk to secc...             About 25 mins walk to main shopping area ...             perfect for the secc...             Very close to SECC...             easy walking of main facilities...             good connecion to town and airport...             half an hour to the airport ...             Very handy for Kelvingrove art gallery and museum....
