Guest Comment:
Good location for exploring Glasgow and surrounding area; next to the main train station but noise wasn't significant. Walls are thin; you can hear next room light switches being pressed. Water pressure poor. Not worth published rate of £180 but okay at Just one prices (cheaper than Jury's website!)
Top Tip:
757 bus route back to airport has changed; website and pamphlets are out of date. The two nearest published stops have a sticker saying they no longer serve 757, but you only find out when you get to them, whilst carrying your luggage! We had to walk back along the 'route' to find a valid bus stop and missed one bus.
Off peak travel by train is great value; better than buses.
Try Princes Square off Buchanan street for a pleasant and quiet place to eat. John Lewis does good value lunches.
Check out websites and pamphlets for various discounts. e.g. Mackintosh tour bus £5 for 2days with website voucher.
