Our Review
If you want a comfortable, friendly, good-sized hotel right in the city centre, you can’t beat the Jurys Inn. It’s very close to the main shopping area and the higher floor rooms boast great views of the river and the hills to the south of Glasgow. Due to the hotel being right next to Central Station, some guests may worry about the noise but have no fear, the rooms likely to be affected are all triple glazed so there shouldn't be a problem!
Newly opened in August 2003, the Jurys Inn Glasgow is housed in a modern building overlooking Central Station. The spacious, welcoming lobby features an impressive beech wood reception desk and a generous seating area composed of lots of sofas.
The 321 guestrooms are decorated in warm rust colours with light wood furniture. They are clean and well maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms. All rooms have flat screen televisions with about 100 freeview channels, they all now have irons & boards and there are a large number of accessible rooms for those guests with disabilities. The rooms on the second floor are smoking and can be requested at the time of booking.
The hotel’s Innfusion restaurant is a relaxed, informal venue offering a Continental buffet breakfast and serving international cuisine at reasonable prices throughout the rest of the day. Alternatively, Inntro, serving great bar food, is perfect for a quick lunch or a drink with colleagues or friends and Il Barista café serves speciality coffees and freshly baked pastries straight from the oven.
